Huong Que (Four Sisters) Vietnamese Restaurant, Eden Center

Eden Center also known as "Little Saigon", is a Mecca of authentic Vietnamese restaurants, Oriental groceries, and curio stores.  Eden Center is located at Seven Corners, Falls Church Virginia (view map), and has gained fame for being home to the best Vietnamese cuisine in the greater Washington DC Metropolitan area.

This is one of our favorite Vietnamese restaurants.  Their menu is diverse and dishes exceptionally fresh and tasty - but don't come here if you are only looking for a bowl of soup -- this restaurant's specialties are the traditional Vietnamese rice and stir-fried noodle dishes.  Huong Viet serves the absolute best Cha Gio (spring rolls, item #1 on menu) - they make them with real rice paper (not the fake lumpia skins). 

Huong Viet is not a large restaurant, and a main fixture in their decor is a large plasma television mounted on the wall - however, we come here for the amazing Vietnamese food, not the ambiance.  Another unique thing they do at Huong Viet is top all of their noodle soups with a fried shrimp fritter - an authentic touch that is done to these dishes back in Vietnam.  Prices are very reasonable with appetizers $3-8 and main dishes $7-12.

Pho Xe Lua - This restaurant specializes in authentic Vietnamese Pho (noodle soup with beef and chicken).  Their Pho is among the best in the area with a thick hearty broth, fresh garnish, and tantalizing meats.  #6765A Wilson Blvd, Falls Church VA, (703) 533-3130

Cho Cu Saigon - We've been eating here for years.  They specialize in the egg noodle (Mi) soup - you can order it so many different ways.  Try their Mi soup with roast duck, roast pork, and wontons.

Huong Binh - This Vietnamese bakery and deli specializes in large special orders for Vietnamese appetizers and cuisines items such as Sticky Rice with Chinese Sausage, Shrimp and Pork Rolls, Fried Noodles.  They also offer delicious Vietnamese sandwiches made fresh.  Large party platters available for very reasonable prices.  #6781 Wilson Blvd, Falls church, VA, (703) 237-9228
